Our Statements of Faith

The Everlasting God: We believe that God is an omnipotent, three-person being: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14) 

 

The Fall of Man: We believe that humans are created in the image and likeness of God but fell from perfection and relationship with God by voluntary disobedience, which caused separation between God and His creation. (Romans 5:12)

 

The Plan of Salvation: We believe that while we were still sinners Christ died in our place and the cost of His death has covered all our sins. (John 3:16; Romans 5:8)

 

The Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is the Person and the Power by which assisstance and ability are given for serving and for sharing the life of God with others. (Acts 1:8; 2:4)

 

The Fruit of the Spirit: We believe that a Christian should bear and show spiritual fruit, such as love, as evidence of a life abided in Jesus. (Galatians 5:22)

 

The Second Coming of Christ: We believe that the second coming of Christ is personal and approaching. (John 14:3)

 

Tithes and Offerings: We believe God's design for the support and spread of His ministry is in the giving of tithes and free-will offerings (Malachi 3:10; II Corinthians 9:7)

 

The Bible: We believe that the Bible is God's Word and is the truth. (II Timothy 3:16-17)

 

Repentance and Acceptance: We believe that by truly turning away from sin and fully accepting Jesus Christ as Lord, one is made right before God, therefore saved from condemnation. (II Peter 3:9; Romans 10:9-10)

 

The New Birth: We believe that each person who recieves and believes in Jesus Christ has become a new person creation. (II Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20) 

 

The Lord's Supper/Communion:

We believe that Christians should partake of bread and grape juice as a symbolic way to remember what Christ accomplished for them on the cross and His ministry on the Earth. (Luke 22:19-20)
